The East Orange School District (EOSD) has launched a Budget Taskforce to address financial challenges, enhance oversight, and ensure sustainable financial planning.
Under the leadership of Superintendent Dr. Christopher C. Irving, the district remains dedicated to maintaining public confidence by providing regular updates, hosting open forums, and fostering active community involvement in shaping financial policies. "This is a time for unity and collaboration," said Dr. Irving. "By keeping our process open and inclusive, we can rebuild trust and work together to secure a stronger financial future for our students and educators."
The Budget Task-force will work closely with community stakeholders to improve financial oversight and uphold the quality of education while navigating fiscal challenges. "Transparency is at the core of this initiative," added Dr. Irving. "We are committed to keeping the community fully informed and actively engaged in the decision-making process as we navigate this financial challenge together."
